Carpet

For best results using Capture® Carpet & Rug Dry Cleaner, treat spills immediately.

For Liquid Accidents:

1.} Start with a clean, white, folded towel and apply directly to the soiled area, absorbing as much of the spill as you can.

2.} Once the spill is absorbed, apply a mist of Capture® pre-spray to the area, followed by a liberal application of Capture® cleaning powder.

NOTE: You must be careful when using the brush: Go very lightly, or you will change the appearance of the pile. Use hands to work the powder into delicate carpets.

3.} Allow the powder to air dry and vacuum. Depending on how wet the carpet is, it may be ready to vacuum in an hour, but you might need to wait overnight.

NOTE: Try not to vacuum too soon, or the stain will not be completely absorbed. The powder can be left for days with no harm. The beauty of the Capture® product is the ability of the powder to actually absorb the stain once it is dry. The liquid becomes “locked” into the powder.

Please feel free to call CSOWP at 407.539.2982 with any of your carpet or area rug care questions.

WOOD FLOOR CARE

When caring for Carpet Source of Winter Park oil-finished flooring, please follow the below suggested guidelines:

GENERAL CLEANING

Your CSOWP floors will give you years of enjoyment. Cleaning consists of vacuuming, broom sweeping, dusting, or mopping with a slightly damp mop. It is not necessary to use wax, or any products containing wax, and we recommend against it. For dirty areas or annual Spring-cleaning, wash the surface with a non-film forming, non-abrasive, and non-ammonia base detergent or a white vinegar and water solution of 2 capfuls of vinegar to 1 gallon of water. The floor should be rinsed afterward to remove all traces of the residual soap or detergent film.

Food/Liquid spills:

Food and Liquid spills should be cleaned up quickly with a cloth lightly dampened with water.

Spills that contain grease use a small amount of liquid dish soap diluted with water on a rag and lightly wipe the area. Wipe the area dry with a clean terry cloth rag. Do not to clean a whole floor using the method this is for spots only.

WOOD FLOOR CARE

Scratches:

Lightly rub the spot and surrounding area with a #0000 steel wool until the area is slightly dull. Put a small amount of finish on a clean rag and lightly coat the area. Let dry for at least 8 hours. The finish used on your floor combustible and should be used with care. Use only in well-ventilated areas and do not leave rags with finish on them inside.

Recoating:

• CSOWP recommends that your flooring be recoated as needed. This depends upon wear however this usually is about once a year. Professionals should do this procedure.

Preventative Maintenance:

Protect all furniture legs with felt pads. These should be the stick on type and not nailed.

Use doormats at exterior doorways on both the inside and outside to help keep dirt and debris off your floors.

Use area rugs and in high traffic areas. Examples are in front of kitchen sinks and busy hallways.

WOOD FLOOR CARE

Please do not do the following:

Do not use excessive water on your floor.
Do not wax or use any cleaning solutions not listed above.
Do not use any type of Hardwood floor cleaner sold in most stores.
